Hello. It's been a while, a long while - and frankly that's been too long for me. SO -> I created a new LJ Name for Seconahand - and it is "SecondhandRock". Hey everyone! This is a quck update, but nonetheless important update about a huge show coming up fast. Unity is coming up next week/weekend, and Secondhand has just been added to the bill on Saturday Night on the A-Stage. Small Town Poets fell out of the show, and so, I am assuming, Mourning September is moving up and we are opening for them, then Everyday Sunday. Here is the schedule.
this WAS the schedule:
SATURDAY, AUG 13
6:30 PM - 7:15 PM Mourning September
7:30 PM - 8:15 PM Small Town Poets
8:30 PM - 9:30 PM Everyday Sunday
this is what I belive will be the schedule (not yet 100% confirmed)

SO mark your calendars, write it on your hand in permanent marker ... or just don't forget and go to the show SATURDAY, AUGUST 13! Everyday Sunday is fricken awesome live, and I've never heard Mourning September, but I have no doubts that they are crazy sweet too. I heard that that guys that did the fantastic sound at Rock the Coast (last year) are doing the A-Stage this year, and that is exciting news, cuz it was sweet!
I'll remind you more about the show via LJ later, but for now go call someone and tell them about the show so we can all have a great time and show Everyday Sunday how kool Muskegon actually is ... or something.

well hello there faithfull citizens! Secondhand has made it though the jungles of Mexico, playing a mega-sweet show down there with Maple and a few other bands, but nonetheless, we are B A C K!
SO what is going on tomorrow? -- nothing, right? WRONG!!! SKELLETONES IS GOING ON, I'LL TELL YOU WHAT!

wow ... I mean WOW! I am blown away by the awesome response we got from everyone about the Intersection show. You guys are seriously awesome! Thank you SO MUCH for going, even though the show was in GR, which is a far distance for those without licences, but for all old fans that made it ... :-D! For all of the new fans that saw us for the first time at the show, you are COOL! We got a lot of fanmail and such about how you all saw the show and liked it, and hopefully all our shows can be that sweet - and they can if you continue to support us (which you are doing such a fine job of now) thoughout our career! Things like this make Secondhand a heck of a lot more fun to do, and never a burden or anything because it has another puropose now -> YOU GUYS!
If anyone took pictures of the show (or for any show or w/e), feel free to email them to us at SecondhandBand@hotmail.com - or just drop us a line to say hi or whatever is on your mind, we're here for you!

OK - you guys are totally R A D!! The turnout for the show was fricken' sweet! It was way more than they've ever had before, and it's all because of you - the faithfull fans... I was glad to see you guys there and attempting to rock out with the early morning and scorching heat!
I know I had a blast and I hope you all did too- Muskegon isn't so bad after all... j/k it's probobly the best place ever or something :-)
Don't forget about The Academy Is... show at The Intersection on Sunday, July 10th - doors: 6 show: 6:30
remember that we are selling tickets so if possible you gotta get them from us (for the bare skin- double half slashed off price of $10).
Thanks again SO much for going out to the show, and hopefully the turnout will be similar (only different that you will bring even more friends and family ... [ya know- my grandma was there too - for real!] and we can have a blast again!)

What is going on tomorrow ... or today - or whatever - TUESDAY?
nothing, right? Well why waste money going bowling and crap like
that when you could go to a rock show for FREE?! That's right kiddies! FREE!!!
Secondhand is playing at Summer Celebration's Comcast Regional Stage (by the Carnival) - and Enterance is FREE!!! It's right by the main stage sorta. but on the other side of the gates. So dont waste any time thinking about what to do, beacuse we have already made the plans for you :-)! So lets get out of bed and go to a FREE SHOW!

Hey all! Surprize show - well to me at least. There is a show/battle of the bands going on at the Pier (Grand Haven) called War on the Waterfront. We are playing in it and if you have nothing else to do tomorrow, you should go. It seems like a cool show - and here is the list of bands--

Hey eveyone! I got back from our show - and it was sweet!
Thanks to EVERYONE who went, even though there weren't many people there, we had an awesome time ANYWAYS! It was awesome how you ALL went crazy because that's what makes a show good. For the LOSERS who couldn't go ;-), it was at a church and was a low-key setup kind of thing, but was still fun.
We played pretty tight and JUST attempted to rock i guess.
Out next show is at Summer Celebration (on Tuesday - not this tuesday, but JULY 5th). We play at 12:00 and more info will be served up your way when it comes. We are also setting up some shows with Grey Halo and hopefully are playing at a battle of the bands maybe sometime in july. The problem is that I am scheduled to go to Cornerstone Fest. with MSBC's Youth Group - and I don't want to go anymore- SO if anyone wants to go with John and the guys, give me 100$ and i'll give you my ticket (744-6997//670-9687 for more info).
I'm out - pistons are tied - need i say more? I"M BUSY! lol

HEY!!! Well- I'll cut to the chase...
We just got back yesterday at like 1:00 am from BLITZ FEST TWO THOUSAND FOUR!
it was totally rad.
We opened up the whole festival for the day on the Rock Stage at 5:00, and there were a few people at the beggining, and then twords the middle-end more kiddies came and rocked. It was fun. And then Everyday Sunday played and rocked hard...
We got to chill wtih the rest of the guys and it was Dan's last show (the lead guitar). And so now Wade is gonna replace him. Wade is cool. I never got to meet Dan though but i know he's a hottie with a body. ha SO it's all good.
N E ways we had a pretty cool show. OH ya-- SideWalkSlam was there too! They were SO TIGHT! And there was nobody there for them :( because John Ruben was one the main stage- but it was still cool to see them - but they didn't have any merch.
I dunno the whole week was fun with Trey and WadeJames - and I like having fun so YAH!
I'll try better to keep this LJ posted w/ new shows updates - but I dunno if anyone is ever reading this so...?
Who knows- Keep updated w/ www.SecondhandRock.com (now we have pictures under the Media section and you can go to like 2 different shows or something up top w/ the little < & > things. It's fun fun fun!

Hey Everyone!!! Long time, no post :). WELL- We just got back from our little band trip to Columbus and that was sweet (read kevincramblet 's journal to get the whole story). But we have a show coming up and if any of you are around - you should go! It's not in Muskegon, though. It's in Rockford MI, but I think it will still be cool. It's at Rockford's River Rock Church. We are the only band playing and we're playing 2 sets but it will be fun fun fun! So if you're bored on a Sunday night, go to church. And if you cant go to church, go to our show!!
